COAST ALIVE! SIX DAY INSTITUTE  (Online Registration Link)
TILDEN NATURE AREA - (first day) Upper elementary and middle school teachers: learn about the geology and ecology of the San Francisco Bay Region in the field. Meet at Tilden, then visit various East Bay Regional Parks to wade into wetlands, explore sandy beaches and upland habitats with expert naturalists. Over six days, you'll complete an outdoor experiment, and learn to integrate math and language arts with science. Get curriculum with over 30 standards-based activities and priority trips for your students. $500 stipend offered by California Institute for Biodiversity.
